Foreword: Written about my experiences with those who give the impression they care or are interested, but in reality are shallow with only a deep interest in themselves.
Plain to see for me
That smile you smile ain't real
Pretend to care with your cold blank stare
As your fake layers begin to peel..
Plain to see for me
My time you wasted so real
It passes you by with each little lie
Create scars too deep to heal?
Plain to see for me
Your ignorance sets you free
From acknowledging the pain
As your blindness unchanged
Like a clock with no hands, it's obvious to me..
Plain to see for me
But not for you it seems
You're the blind leading the blind
With an insular mind so desperate for others to see..
Plain to see for me
It's always been about you not hearing me
How was I blind for far so long?
But now I'm not, now I see.
