Foreword: I wrote this piece about simply being aware and open to acknowledging my own self imposed limitations. Trusting God, not to always be fearful.

The opportunities come

And the opportunities go

You blink and you'll miss them

Like the tides ebb and flow..

The hand that giveth

It doesn't taketh away

You need to open your eyes

More attention to pay..

Stop blaming the others

Whose names you don't know

Take a look at yourself

Open your ears, listen and grow..

It's down to you yes; your own self

Left yourself too long

Sat unread with the other dust covered books

Opportunity missed, faded on the shelf..

So do what you can

With what you've been given

Be thankful for that

Use those gifts, be driven.
